Sports Fliers

My sister (Tayler) works for Orange County Parks & Rec, she participates in Whitfield Bynoe’s “Zero Excuses” Boot Camp once a week. Whit asked Tayler to make him a simple flier to print and hang around the gym and a smaller one to post on Instagram. I jumped in immediately and offered to do this simple project for him! I used easy to read typefaces, big bold lettering to catch the readers attention, simple colors, and a consistent layout to give Whit multiple options. He loved what I produced so much that he recommended me to his friend Thomas.

Thomas was looking for another simple flier layout, something that could easily be printed from the office and hung around the gym to promote his “Peak Performance” personal basketball training. I decided to go with the color scheme of red, black and gray because it felt traditional, yet powerful. Again, the body font is simple and consistent, while the header font is bold and engaging. I gave Thomas 3 options that matched the same theme so that he could change the fliers once a week, or however often he felt necessary!
