I began my first paid job in the Summer of 2010. As a 6-year veteran camper, I experienced the power that a camp counselor had on the children I engaged with. One year away from graduating high school I went in for an interview at the Orange County Parks & Recreation Orlando Magic park. Quickly I earned my way in as a loyal and hard-working employee. Showing true passion towards the children, and setting an excellent example for these children because I knew the immediate impact I would have on them. For three summers I worked throughout different camps, guiding and taking care of kids on a daily basis. Orange County Parks & Recreation offer multiple organized events including seasonal camps, aerobic classes for all ages, basketball leagues indoor and outdoor, bootcamp, zumba and many more. I was not only involved in the seasonal camps, but also I gained experience working with the scheduling, registrations and payments on site.
